Q. What are the minimum system requirements for FLEX?

Please see this page for the FLEX recommended hardware requirements. As a minimum:

Operating System Windows 7 or 10
Processor Quad Core 3 Ghz 
Memory (RAM) 4GB 
Hard Disk  500 GB 
Graphics On-board (Integrated) 64Mb
Monitors 1360 x 768, Widescreen 

FLEX requires a wired network connection. Please see this page for the FLEX recommended network requirements.

Q. What version of Windows do I need for FLEX?

A. FLEX will not work on Windows XP or Vista. Microsoft has now withdrawn extended support for XP, with Vista to follow in April 2017. You will need Windows 7 or 10 to use FLEX to its full potential.

Q. Can I use FLEX from home / outside the practice?

A. Yes, your FLEX package includes a Remote License. For more details, please click here

Q. Can I book some on-site training?

A. Yes. All phone and remote / online support is included in your monthly fee, but for a site visit from our Software Trainer, please email him directly: chris.gray@optinetuk.com

Q. What peripherals, like scanners and printers can be connected to FLEX?

Q. Can you set these up for me?

A. No we can't. It is the responsibility of the practice to ensure all hardware is set-up, configured and working properly in Windows. For a list of recommended hardware and suppliers, please click here
